Kindred Oaks is proud to offer the best outdoor facility rain plan in the city! Our covered pavilion sits directly next to a covered stone gazebo that looks out on the tree covered pasture and serves as not only our rain plan but also the preferred ceremony location for 5% of our couples.
The photos below show what Plan B looks like, in various stages. Our rock gazebo serves as one of two covered ceremony locations to choose from, our sandstone fireplace being the second. We have clear, roll down walls that can be used in the case of cold weather, and with our new fireplace, the pavilion becomes an outdoor “indoor” space. In addition to the fireplace, we can provide patio heaters at a rate of $50.00 each.
Predominately an outdoor facility, our first obligation is
to make sure you are protected in the event of inclement weather.
You should not have to rely only on the crossing of your fingers!
Relying on the statistics of almost 500 weddings, we only
have rain in about 5% of our weddings!
When it has rained, it certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s
spirits because we fully protect you and your guests to the
best of our ability! As they say in Texas, “if you don’t
like the weather, just wait a few minutes and it’ll
change!”
