"There just aren't enough words to say how wonderful Kindred Oaks is! Our day was absolutely perfect, despite the rainy weather! Their facility is absolutely gorgeous, and 1 month later, we are STILL getting compliments about how wonderful the facility is, and how nice and courteous the staff is.

We decided to move the ceremony into the pavilion at the rehearsal, and on the day of they made it look like we had planned it that way all along! They didn't bat an eye with the changes we made at the rehearsal, and they really put me at ease. I really do think our plan B (by the fireplace) turned out prettier than the plan A would have been. So gorgeous and perfect for a winter wedding!

Elaine and her staff were so nice and responsive when we had questions/concerns. The all-inclusive package is worth every dime, and probably saved me from tons of extra stress. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day, b/c I knew they would have everything handled. They let me be able to sit back, get pampered and enjoy the day to the fullest. If something went wrong on my wedding day, I'm not aware of it - either nothing went wrong, or they didn't tell me - which is exactly as it should be!

Their honeymoon suite is absolutely gorgeous! They added so many nice little touches for us (leftover flowers from our wedding, cake, leftover wine/beer), they just made us feel right at home, and the little touches just made our night extra special.

I can't thank Kindred Oaks enough for helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect!"

THANK YOU so much for everything y'all did to make our wedding a huge success!  We have received many many compliments on how beautiful Kindred Oaks is, how great the service/food was, and despite the weather, we couldn't have asked for a better day!
Thank you for helping us move the ceremony to the pavilion and making it look like we planned it that way all along!  I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I just remember everything being so beautiful and thankful your Plan B is just as gorgeous (if not more) than Plan A.  That, and the all-inclusive package were the main reasons we chose to have our wedding at Kindred Oaks.  Everything seemed to go very smoothly the day of (Ok, so I barely remember anything but I'm told it went well!), and the planning process really was a piece of cake.
Many thanks to Heather as well!  I had no clue what I wanted other than colors and basic style of the wedding, and she took that and ran with it.  The flowers were absolutely beautiful, and we are thrilled with how it all turned out!  The flowers on the mantle in particular were just gorgeous and actually made me glad that we had to move inside.  She even remembered an offhand comment I made about the color my grandmother was going to wear, and asked if she could change her corsage so it didn't clash.  I never would have given it a 2nd thought, but she did, and that meant a lot to me that someone thought of the details I didn't even think of!  (and I'm a meeting planner!)
We loved having our honeymoon suite there and didn't have to worry about where to stay, breakfast, etc.  Your room is amazing, as was breakfast!  You're lucky my car isn't bigger - that bed is so comfy, I wanted to take it home with me!
Thanks again for everything!  Our day was everything we hoped it could be, and we owe a lot of that credit to y'all.  We couldn't have done it that well on our own, and we will always be grateful for everything y'all did for us.

I was married at Kindred Oaks on December 19, 2010. It was absolutely wonderful! The staff all felt like family by the time I made it down the isle. They are all very warm and open to helping you in any way they can. You get so much more then you pay for. Elaine, Steve, Heather, and everyone at Kindred Oaks are very laid back, but they always do what they can to help and work with you. They will assist as much or as little as you want/need. Elaine tries to help get every wedding party down the aisle.  I would recommend anyone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding venue to check this place out.

This place is AMAZING. This venue was a candidate for my #1 venue choice. HUGE covered patio. Extremely professional, laid-back owners. Honeymoon Suite for the bride and groom to stay overnight. They have an in-house caterer, so you can't choose your own. I wasn't a huge fan of that rule. [This is actually not correct and we’re unsure where they got that information – you are welcome to bring in your own caterer or use the ones on our preferred list]
Now, the real kicker is that you have to book this venue far in advance. I said, if I wanted to book for September, do you have xyz date open? And they said, you mean for September 2 years from now? We're booked solid. I didn't get to have my wedding here, but I highly recommend you visit Kindred Oaks if you are considering an outdoor wedding. I loved this place. But go NOW. This place books up so far in advance that if you don't have a long engagement, it's difficult to have Kindred Oaks as an option.

Kindred Oaks is a beautiful venue that isn’t looking to steal every penny you own yet they are so involved and really help you to make your wedding perfect. My wedding went off without a hitch thanks to the help of the staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!! The dance floor is beautiful and the venue requires very little decoration since the place is already gorgeous.

Living in Houston, the moment I saw Kindred Oaks online I knew it was the one and seeing it in person was even better. Everyone who is a part of this wonderful facility is amazing. My wedding day was everything that I could have asked for and more. All of our guests loved the venue as well and commented on how great everything was. We chose the BBQ package and it was fantastic! I highly recommend this venue to any bride looking for a Hill Country feel and beautiful surroundings.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this wedding venue. The people running Kindred Oaks are truly special! They went above and beyond in the preparation and organization of the day! I was blown away at how easily the night flowed. There were ZERO hiccups (and if there were, I was not bothered with them!!) Everything went smoothly and on time. Elaine and Steve are wonderful! If you are considering having an outdoor wedding... This place is breath-taking! I couldn't have been happier! Literally, the best day of my life. Hands down. BOOK KINDRED OAKS!
