From a letter we received August 10th, from a bride who mostly used our Preferred Vendor List to shop for the professionals who would be working her event.  It was a glowing report all the way around but I've condensed the letter to comprise the pertinent elements.

Steve and Elaine,

“Wow!  I cannot believe that it has been six weeks since our wedding day, I intended to write you sooner.  Neal and I wanted to thank you and your staff for such a magnificent wedding day.  I knew that your venue was perfect for us the moment we viewed it last September.  We were so pleased with all of Heather's help that day.  She worked right alongside with my family and friends and was so helpful with the last minute requests for extra vases and table placements and what not.  The only downfall of our day is that we didn't want it to end.  Despite my blistering feetI was not ready to stop dancing!  However, the honeymoon suite you have onsite.....WOW!!!!   The night could not have been more romantic.  We had no worries about having to drive anywhere after our celebrating which was so nice. I kept commenting to Neal about the personal touches you added in the room by placing flowers (Sue) from our wedding and reception all around.  This was the only time we got to sit back and truly enjoy the beauty of them, thank you!

I am so glad that I took the time to visit a few of your open houses.   Neal and I had been looking for a photographer and just hadn't found one we were 100% sold on.  I noticed on your website that you were having a new photographer out, (but mostly I was interested in seeing Kindred Oaks all lit up at night as it was winter and the sun was down earlier for this particular open house.)  Wouldn't you know, we fell in love with Jmark Photography the moment we saw their portfolio at your open house!  I loved that Mark and Vicki are a husband and wife team....they can often read one another's minds or know what type of photos each will capture, etc.  I cannot thank you enough for having them at your open house!

With the great luck of finding my photographer through Kindred Oaks, I used your website as my go-to reference for other vendors I was looking for.  I found my wedding officiant through your preferred vendors list online.  It was then that I contacted Vicki Wood.  We were able to meet her in person that very next day!  She even came in to volunteer some free time with my class!

I had already heard great things about Cakes by Kathy from a couple of my friends who had used her for tehr wedding cakes.  Neal and I were both very pleased with the cake and Neal doesn't even like cake!!  The Round Rock doughnut cake was a great hit with the guests as well, and very cost efficient too.

Amy Mullins at Hill Country Events was wonderful!  Her staff exceeded my expectations.  They were somewhat invisible to me, which in my mind is perfect service.  Amy worked with me to get me the best bang for my buck as we were not expecting to be paying servers until the very last minute.  She was able to provide a far better service than what I would have been able to put together on my own.

Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful venue with us.  We will treasure our beautiful wedding day memories for the rest of our life!”
